Would you go to Walmart or Discount Tires for tire installation?

I've always bought tires from Discount Tires but my boyfriend needs new tires and he's thinking about buying the tires from Walmart and getting them installed there.

Has anyone had anything mess up because Walmart installed their tires???|||I've done it at Wal-Mart. Even though its at Wal-Mart. Its a Seperate Shop and does just as good of a job as the other place, plus you get a better warranty on the tires. The shop is not run by Wal Mart.|||Wal-Mart sells name brand tires, just like any other discount tire store. I have never had a bad experience shopping at Wal-Mart tire stores. Of course, it's just like any other store... The quality of service is only as good as the people you have working there.|||NEVER AGAIN...

the wal-mart I went to drove my car like hell when they were putting it onto the ramps (and this wasn't even a car i REALLY cared about) they actually got air off the ramp when they put it int he shop, i was soo mad...

now i drive a cadillac, and there is no F*cking way they are ever touching that car...I don't care if i have to drive it 100 miles to get to a cadillac dealer and have the tires put on, walmart is NEVER touching my vehicles again...|||I ALWAY buy and have my tires installed for both my BMW Z3 and Chevy Trailblazer. There is NO WAY I would let walmart touch my cars. I have been going to Discount Tire since I was 16 years old. They have my complete trust at Discount Tires. They offer free rotations, switching of seasonal tires, warranty, and THEY BEAT ANY PRICE!!! I will never go anywhere but Discount Tire!|||Ron Paul's tires are the best; in my opinion. But, Wal-Mart has no problems.|||I have used wal-mart tires ....no problems. you can also get a maintenance agreement with them...good luck with you new tires|||I've had my tires installed at wal mart and had no problems, if I remember right, I had to wait for a long time to be waited on. But, really had no problems with them.|||I went to Wal-Mart about five years ago for my last pair of tires on my car. They were great tires and I got a decent price on them, and they're still running strong... However, when I went in there, I felt like they were trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. My car has high mileage and I thought the cheapest BFGoodrich tires would be just fine.... But they kept trying to sell me $100 tires. Then they said I needed an extra warranty, the installation fee was per tire (not per set), and they wanted to charge me $10 for new caps!!

I just took my fiance's car to Discount, and they were awesome! Didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need, had a great warranty program, felt like they were a little more down-to-earth.
