Better price on tires and alighnment - Discount tires or at car dealers?

I need a low profile tires for my scion and i would like to have an alignment done at the same time. what i have on my scion now is yokoma or yokahoma something like that. ca'nt remember at this moment :). would i get a better deal and service at the Discount Tires or at my Scion dealers. Thank you in advance.|||Discount Tire Co. is the best place to buy tires. As for the alignment, you may not need that done--unles you are experiencing a driving/handling issue or you are aware you've knocked somthing "hard" with your car.|||dealer will be much higher|||You have to do a little cross shopping in this case. Some shops will give you a free alignment if you buy 4 tires. I never seen a dealer do this. Plus, generally a discount tire place is cheaper.

The best $140 I've ever spent was in getting the Firestone "wheel alignment for life" service. Pay $140 and you will get all the alignments you want for as long as you own your car. Just $90 if get another car.

If you have a Firestone near you (if you live in the USA) check it out. They may have a deal on tires as well.|||Try tirerack.com for a wide selection of low-profile tires such as Yokohoma, Toyo, Pirelli, etc. You'll save big $$$ and can have your tires installed and an alignment done at a reputable garage.

I saved $275.00 on four tires compared to STS.|||Best to go to a tire place; dealerships normally charge more. My dealer (for example) charges $139 for an alignment! Tires might be a little more there too. Discount Tire doesn't do alignments (i recently went there but was referred to another place). Do you have a Tire Works near you? I believe they do alignments and carry Yokohama tires.|||Discount for the tires but remember that they dont do alignments so you will have to go elsewhere but it will still be alot cheaper than the dealer.
